We provide a free, no-obligation assessment for students who are interested in sitting the 11+ exam. The assessment is a natural aptitude test, designed to gauge your child’s suitability for our fast-paced 11+ courses. When we launch in a new area, like we are doing in Amersham this year, we invite parents to come and visit us whilst their child completes the initial assessment. Parents are welcome to listen to a presentation from the company directors about the 11+ exam content, what it takes the pass the 11+, and how our courses work. There will also be an opportunity for parents to view sample course material and ask any questions they have. The whole thing will last roughly one hour in total. Following the assessment, our directors will call each family individually to discuss the results of the assessment. We will provide an honest opinion of your child's current academic level and suitability for our courses.
At this stage, we assess only maths and English. We do not include VR or NVR, since this could provide an unfair advantage to students who have already received tuition in those areas. All maths and English topics in this test will have been taught at school, but the question formats will be new to the children. Pupils will therefore need to apply their existing knowledge alongside problem-solving and analytical skills. Some of the topics covered are listed below:
You can do this below.
Parents/guardians will come and visit our tuition centre along with their child. The child will take a free 11+ assessment test, which will take roughly 1 hour to complete. While this is happening, parents are invited to listen to a presentation from our company directors. We will have sample course material available to view, and any questions or queries can be answered.
Within 3 working days, you will receive a phone call from one of our company directors. During the call, we will go over the results of the assessment. We will also talk through how the course works, and we can answer any questions you may have about the 11+ tests, grammar schools or entry requirements. We will talk you through the sign-up process, which you can then go on to complete, should you wish to.
